“Budget Garden Kneeler” FARM HOME Miscellaneous “After my wife Linda told me she would like a garden kneeler I looked around but everything I found was either too expensive or just wobbly junk ” says Lee Hartman “I bought a rolling walker for $10 at a secondhand store I removed the lower part of the legs including the wheels but kept the horizontal tubes part way up on both sides of the walker I then used 5/8-in thick plywood to make a floor that sets on the tubes and is notched at all 4 corners to keep it in place I also attached a knee pad to the floor “Now Linda has a kneeler that’s not only strong and sturdy but even folds up for the off-season ”
