“Baler’s Gloves” Offer Lightweight Protection
“Our new Baler’s Glove is a long lasting, tough glove that’s designed to provide excellent dexterity. They’re ideal for doing general farm work such as cleaning out stalls, handling hay bales, repairing fences, and performing vehicle maintenance,” says Matt Fox, Summit Glove, Inc., Minerva, Ohio.
The grey, machine knit gloves have a smooth finish and are made with a seamless nylon liner coated with polyurethane. They have a knit wrist.
“The ultra light polyurethane palm coating offers superior grip and abrasion resistance in both dry and light oil applications. The coating is also breathable to avoid palm perspiration, even with continuous use,” says Fox. “Baler’s Gloves aren’t weatherproof, and they provide very little cut protection to your hands, but they will protect your hands when handling rough objects such as hay and straw bales. Dairy farmers like these gloves because they keep their hands clean.”
Baler’s gloves come in a variety of sizes and are sold exclusively by distributors. Suggested retail price is $3.75 per pair.
