Replacement Seat Cushions For Older Ram Trucks Now Offer More Options
Owners of older Ram pickups love the comfort and durability of the new driver side Durofoam seat cushions for 1994 to 2019 Ram trucks designed by Geno’s Garage in Cumming, Ga.
“We specialize in hard-to-find parts, especially for older Ram/Cummins diesel trucks. We were getting a lot of requests for replacement seat cushions which weren’t available or were lacking in comfort,” says Brandon Parks, Geno’s Garage.
After searching for quality original discontinued seat cushions, the staff at the Georgia business spent months of trial-and-error testing material weight and quality for the optimum comfort and durability.
“We wanted to make one that was even better than what originally came on the truck.” Parks says. “Our Durofoam seat cushions are a denser foam that hold up better than the factory foam. We beefed up the left side, which is noted for collapsing. We reinforced the bottom of the foam with a layer of fiberglass to stop the seat springs from cutting into the foam and allowing them to bounce back.”
Geno’s has now increased their product line from driver side only to include the passenger side seat cushion. Plus, they’ve now started stocking replacement OE style replacement seat bottom covers for 1998 to 2017 Ram trucks. “As OE or OE-style material becomes available, we will be increasing our product line for replacement seat covers,” says Parks.
Geno’s website and printed catalog offers eleven versions of the Durofoam cushions at $139.00 each.
