Custom-Built Manure Tanks That Last
Jasper Manufacturing LLC began as a small welding and repair shop which partnered with a custom manure-hauling business. When they needed another tank, they purchased a rusted out one and built a stainless tank on the undercarriage. That experience grew into a business of rebuilding and selling used manure tanks.
With increased demand and rising used equipment prices, they just released their own all-new undercarriage and are offering completely new “Jasper” tanks. Through years of rebuilding tanks from the leading brands, they saw what wore out, what worked and what didn’t. They used that knowledge to build a new, robust undercarriage.
Jasper uses 30,000-lb. plus rated spindles and hubs to reduce bearing and spindle failure. They use 4 by 8 1/2-in. wall rectangle tube that eliminates bent axles. They started with a common proven brake from the trucking industry to build robust brakes that require minimal maintenance.
They engineer their products with the slogan “keep it simple” in mind. They use off-the-shelf products so that maintenance is affordable. They also try to keep everything repairable, so that a part failure doesn’t require torching and welding.
Another part of their new release is larger tanks. Until now, the largest single tank on the market was 10,500 gals. With the labor shortage and push to get more done in the same amount of time, larger tanks are needed. Jasper now offers a 13,000 gal. model with a larger one coming soon.
The company offers various options, including stainless steel fenders, stainless pumps, stainless top pipe, extra work lights, fill gauges, upgraded brakes, and more. Several tire options and sizes are also available.
