Polish Grain Cleaner Is Popular With US Farmers
In the fall of 2015, Farm Show wrote about the award winning Sosnowski Grain Cleaners. An OH farm business is now the North American distributor.
These machines will clean many different kinds of grain including barley, spelt, rye, wheat, oats, corn, soybeans, rape seed, peas, dry beans, nuts, etc. A central diffusing element inside the cleaning tube is key to the cleaning quality to standards almost twice that of most other similar machines on the market. It becomes an arduous task and cleaning action is soon lost when screens are not kept clean on any screen machine. It’s hard to beat a Sosnowski for consistency and efficiency.
Operating the Sosnowski grain cleaners is very simple and user friendly. This machine carries 18 patents and has only one moving part: a fan blade attached directly to the motor shaft.
When the motor is engaged it activates centrifugal force to separate the good seed from dust, chaff, cracks and malnourished light seeds which are often infected with fungus or disease. A farmer in Canada increased the value of a 6,000 bushel crop of wheat by over $24,000 when he used this machine to remove the undesirables from his crop.
Model sizes range from 100 to 8,000 bu/hr. Additional information can be provided by Friendly Meadows, 6523 Township Rd 346, Millersburg, Ohio 44654 (ph 330-473-7647) or visit their website at: GrainCleanerOH.com.
