The "Down `N Out" post puller is a 6-in. long, 1-in. sq. heavy gauge steel tube with notches cut into one end that simply slip onto posts from the side. When turned one way, you can put your foot on it to push the post into the ground. When turned the opposite way, you use your hand to pull posts out. "I invented it to use on my own place and it became one of the most valuable tools I owned," says Nolan Bontke, who sells the post puller for $4.95 apiece.
