Remote Auger Control Kit Works From Cab
AugerBoss attaches to a swing auger and moves it by remote control. Instead of getting out of a cab to move an auger into position, the AugerBoss does it for you.
Founders Zach Davis and Paul Sites say, “We looked at existing products and felt a lot of improvements could be made over working with traditional dealers.” Sites adds, “If you need to add remote control to an auger quickly, there aren’t many options.”
The kit consists of high-traction pneumatic wheels, jack assemblies with mounts, wireless remotes and a wireless 12-volt motor control module. Assembly and installation time are estimated to be less than an hour with basic tools.
“If something happens with your AugerBoss, call us, and we’ll ship out an entire unit, if necessary,” says Sites. We understand you can’t afford to be down during harvest. We offer a no-questions-asked return if your AugerBoss isn’t meeting your expectations. We believe in our product and want you to believe in it, too, risk-free.”
When it came to designing and selecting components, the partners valued simplicity. “You can use any off-the-shelf garage door opener for the remote should you lose the ones included or want an extra remote,” says Sites. “We wanted to be user-friendly. We may offer a smartphone app in the future, but I know I have too many apps on my phone. For now, we’re sticking to a physical remote. Just put it on your keychain.”
AugerBoss kits will be available in 2025. A kit is priced at $2,499 with free shipping.
