Mount A Flex Harrow On Your Field Cultivator
Now, thanks to special "Rex-Master" mounting brackets introduced by SM Sales, of Sanbom, Minn., you can equip your field cultivator with a flexible tine harrow.
"With flex-tine harrows, you have twice as many teeth working the ground than with conventional tine harrows," explains Allan Stark, president. "What's more, a flex-tine harrow is much less likely to plug in heavy trash."
SM Sales offers flex-tine harrows for field cultivators in 4 and 6 ft. widths, and a standard length (front to back) of 4 ft.
Equipping a 20 ft. wide field cultivator runs right at $1,565 for two 4-ft. wide and two 6-ft. sections (all with heavy-duty 1/2 in. dia. teeth), and eight mounting brackets. The new "Flex-Master" mounting brackets hinge to provide flexibility when crossing ditches or uneven terrain, and adjust to provide optimum digging depth of all of the harrow tines.
