"It's got the impact of an 18-lb. sledge hammer but it virtually eliminates shock to the hands of the user once you get a rhythm going. Makes it easy to drive steel posts," says Dawson.
The new post driver consists of two parts. When the solid steel head of the driver hits the top of the post on the down swing, the outer shell of the driver continues on down, taking the shock out of the handles.
The new post driver weighs 36 lbs. and sells for $89.95.
