The 22-ft. long hauler/feeder, designed and built by E-Z Trail, Inc., mounts on the company's reliable E-Z Trail wagon gear, equipped with low-profile 10-ply 26.00 by 12 tires. Both slide-out feeder panels hinge at either end so you can load bales onto the trailer from either side or quickly remove both side panels when you're using the rig strictly as a bale transport. When feeding bales, sides telescope out as wide as 11 ft. and then "narrow up" to 5 ft., 6 in. as cattle push them inward while feeding. "Because it allows for .complete cleanup of feed, farmers who've used it tell me it pays for itself quickly in saved hay," says Abe Kuhns of E-Z Trail.
