If you're hard of hearing, the "sonic ear" listening unit can also be used in church, at lectures, concerts, etc., by detaching it from the cap and fitting it with a set of stereo headphones. The "sonic ear" consists of a small battery-powered amplifier fitted with a micro-phone and a pair of earplugs. The micro-phone swivels forward when in use.
