Minimum Till Rotary Hoe
 ✖ |
First on the market with a rotary hoe designed for trashy conditions is M & W Gear Co., Gibson City, Ill. Unlike conventional rotary hoes with two close-together rows of spider wheels, the new M & W rig backs up the second row of wheels on an extended arm, and spaces the wheels evenly for less trash retention. What's more, as each wheel rotates, the teeth are said to remove any debris from between wheels in the opposite row.
The hoe is available in 15-ft. and 21-ft. rigid models, and 21-ft. and 30-ft. hydraulic fold models.
Contact: FARM SHOW Followup, M & W Gear, Rt. 47 South, Gibson City, Ill. 60936 (ph 217 784-4261).
