Tensioner Keeps Belts Tight All The Time FARM SHOP Maintenance 20-2-13 You can keep proper tension on V-belts at all times with this automatic tensioner introduced by Greimann Accu-Spray at the recent National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Ky. It consists of a special spring-loaded 8 by 10-in. motor mount that bolts, clamps, or welds to the side of any belt-driven machine such as an auger. It's shaped like a scissors jack. You first set tension manually using a draw bolt on back. Then a 6-in. long spring automatically keeps tension where it's set for as long as the belt's on the machine. Sells for $65.
