Aquarium Hangs From The Wall
"Our new Fish House makes for a unique wall hanging and provides an interesting 3-dimensional window to the sea," says Denise Erdman, Brooklyn Park, Minn., who, along with her husband Roger, designed and is now marketing the wall aquarium.
Made from acrylic plasticùso it's easy to clean and tough to breakùthe 10 by 18-in. oval aquarium extends out 6-in. from the wall. It hangs flat against the wall using a 2-in. finishing nail driven into a stud. The scenic background is actually a printed 4-color sheet, cut in the shape of the aquarium, which hangs behind the unit on the 2-in. nail.
"Basically, the Fish House is for rough fish, such as goldfish or guppies that come to the surface for air and don't need aerators. However, aerators can be put in for other type of fish," Denise points out.
Unit holds 1¢-gal. of water and weighs 12-lbs. when full. An access hole at the top makes it easy to feed fish and to change the water.
Sells for $19.95, plus shipping.
