Easier Way To Make Pipe Welds FARM SHOP Handy Hints 1-4-21 Someone has finally figured out an easy way to make professional looking joints and seams when welding gates, skids and other items out of pipe.
Called the Welder's Helper, it's a kit made up of 22 patterns for making saddle and elbow cuts in pipe ranging from 1 1/2 in. through 8 in. in dia. "The patterns require no special skill and will help you make professional looking joints the first and every time," says Austin Graham, inventor and marketer of the kit.
Using the pattern's provided, you make your own wrap-around templates out of a medium weight material, such as gasket material.
Set of 22 patterns sells for $12.65.
