Set Up Your Own Mini Dairy
• You can make fresh cream and low fat or skim milk with this manual cream separator from Hoegger Supply Co. It features a 1 1/2- to 2-gal. bowl, stainless steel disks, and a cast iron base that bolts to any surface. To use, simply get the handle turning at 60 rpm's and after 20 seconds release milk into discs to separate whole milk into cream and skim milk. Processes approximately 13 gal per hour. Sells for $205, plus $7.50 S&H.
• You can pasteurize 2-gal. milk bottles in this mini pasteurizer that can also be used to heat treat colostrum. Heat-treats colostrum at a constant temperature of 135? F; pasteurized milk reaches 160?, then shuts off automatically. Sells for $262.50, plus $7.50 S&H.

• This hand-cranked glass butter churn is based on an old design, but uses modern technologies and materials. From Lehman's, the churn features a stainless steel dasher turning in nylon bushings. Gears are made from Delrin, a nylon-like product.
Comes with 4-qt. jar to hold up to 2 1/2 qts. butter.
