Front End Bale Stacker
"This bale stacker is unique because you can mount it on the front-end of any tractor without adding hydaulics to power its cylinders. It's also the only bale stacker that'll pick bales up horizontally and set them back down vertically for storage or transport," says Francois Vasseur, Faucheux Indus-tries.
The new bale stacker, which attaches in place of the bucket on a front-end loader, requires only a single spool valve to operate because it's equipped with electrically operated solenoid controls. A hand grip with two thumb operated switches controls all the movements of the bale stacker once installed. The solenoids open valves that direct the flow of oil to cylinders on the stacker.
On a mid-size tractor, the stacker reaches up to a height of about 18 ft. and can handle an 1,800 lb. bale. Once the bale grabber at the end of the stacker picks up the bale, it can be pivoted to the horzontal or vertical position as needed.
The Faucheux stacker fits most any loader. Sells for $2,500. The company is looking for a U.S. distributor.
