Extended-Life Roller Chain
"It's great for those applications where roller chain has to operate directly in abrasive sand or dirt," says D and L Chain Specialties of its new "extended life" roller chain.
It's made with wear-resistant chrome-coated pins. Available in sizes 40, 50, 60, 80 and 100, it reportedly lasts 50% or more longer than regular chain. Sells for about triple the cost of comparable conventional roller chain. Extended life chain is made of regular untreated links and connectors.ùonly the pins are chrome-plated.
