New Load Lugger For 4-Wheel Drive Tractors
Originally introduced with a rear-mounted 3-pt. hitch for carrying mounted equipment to get it off the tractor, it's been redesigned to do a variety of other jobs. For example, the new model is designed for mounting a chemical tank on the Load Lugger itself. It's also equipped with an auxiliary toolbar which accommodates coulters or other attachments. Thus, in one operation with the tractor and Load Lugger, you can spray and incorporate chemicals, cut through heavy trash and prepare the seedbed with a chisel plow or other machine.
"There are several units on the market which, like the original Load Lugger, allow you to get 3-pt. hitch mounted equipment off the tractor. But, so far as we know, ours is the only one with the auxiliary toolbar which allows you to combine several operations into a once-over trip," explains Don Schmidt, vice president of marketing.
Other key features include adjustable wheel tracks, 6 by 6 in. structural steel tubing, integral category 3 quick hitch, and heavy duty construction.
Suggested retail is right at $6,000, including the auxiliary toolbar.
