Slip-Proof Treads For Your Bathtub FARM HOME Bathroom 2-2-15 Prompted by requests from FARM SHOW readers for "where to buy" information on slip-proof treads for bathtubs, we contacted the maker of Slip-X treads, one of the major brands.
Designed to provide firm, safe footing in a tub or shower, Slip-X treads are available in a wide variety of patterns - flowers, blossoms or strips. They're available in various sizes, up to 10 different colors and in a variety of configurations. The treads are adhesive backed for easy installation.
"Many housewives complain that their tub treads have a constant ring of dirt around the edges. This is caused by bargain treads without a foundation, which allows the tread to shift. Slip-X treads incorporate a polyester foundation to eliminate this annoying problem," the manufacturer points out.
Suggested retail for sets containing 10 to 20 pieces to form flowers and other patterns, is right at $3.50 to $4.50 per complete set.
