Grain Saving Fingers For Cutterbars
Made from a super-tough polypropylene, the 10-in. long by 2-in. wide fmgers are formed in the shape of shallow, pointed trays that catch grain and roll it backward onto the platform.
"In addition to saving grain they also improve the flow of grain into the sickle to reduce plug-ups," says Don Riley, company representative. There's a steel insert at the base of each finger that fits over hold-down bolts on the underside of any cutter-bar. "They're so tough they'll last the life of the cutterbar," says Riley.
The fingers sell for $4 apiece.
