"There's no mounting framework to take up space inside the bucket. And the spear itself mounts at an upward angle ù enough so you don't have to remove it when using the loader for normal snow, silage or manure work," explains Hecht. "It's easy to remove ù just pull one pin and it slips right out." Hect uses a 2 ft. long angle iron to spread weight of the bale along the top of the bucket and thus avoid bending it. "The angle of the spear is easily adjusted to adapt it to most makes of tractor loaders," notes Hecht. Sells for $150, including mounting bracket.
