Instant Traction Kit For Cars, Pickups FARM HOME Cars 19-1-34 You can get a firmer grip on winter driving with this new spray-on adhesive kit for cars and pickups that was invented in Norway.
The U.C. Tire Grip Adhesive kit uses a resin-based adhesive fluid that's sprayed directly onto tire treads from nozzles in-stalled in the wheel wells. All you do is push a button on the dash. The nozzles automatically fire a short burst of air to clean tires before spraying the sticky resin.
The effect of the spray lasts from a few miles to 10 to 15 miles depending on road surface condition.
The kit consists of a reservoir for resin, a compressor, and an electronic control unit for correct dosage and nozzle clearance, Installation takes about two hours. The resin will also be available soon in a hand held can.
Sells for about $150, 2-WD; $225, 4-WD.
