Swivel Base Christmas Tree Stand FARM HOME Miscellaneous 19-6-35 Getting a Christmas tree to stand straight is an easy job with this new "swivel base" Christmas tree stand that lets you straighten the tree without having to stoop or crawl under it.
You simply slip a clamp-on cup onto the tree trunk and tighten three set screws, then insert the tree and cup into the 24-in. dia. base unit. You straighten the tree by step-ping on a pedal that allows the base to swivel. When you let up on the pedal, the unit locks in place. The pedal retracts out of the way inside a hidden storage compartment.
Two models are available. One has a 20-in. dia. base and supports trees up to 10 ft. tall, and sells ror $69.95. The other has a 24-in. dia. base, supports trees up to 12 ft. tall, and sells for $79.95.
