"Liquid feed supplements boost feed energy and protein value and help reduce dust," says White. "Many farmers use a 5-gallon bucket to manually dribble liquid supplements into the mixer hopper as it's coming out of the grinder-mixer. The problem is that while grinding feed, dust blows everywhere. Our piggyback hopper applies liquid supplements evenly and virtually eliminates dust."
The tank mounts on the sides of the grinder-mixer with four brackets. It's calibrated so you always know how much liquid you're incorporating and how much is in the tank as you refill it.
Two tank sizes are available. A 15-gal. model sells for under $350 and a 30-gal. model sells for under $400.
