I built a deluxe AN trailer with flotation tires and walking beam axle for my own use 6 years ago. Other people saw it and wanted one so I started building them for sale. They ride smoothly over rough ground or when pulled through the woods. The trailer is the width of a 4-wheeler - 43 in. - and is 6 ft. long. It's fitted with 25-in. wheels 4 on the tandem walking beams. The box is made out of wood with a steel undercarriage. It has a deep well down the center with shallow sides over the wheels.
It pulls much easier than other ATV trailers on the market and is perfect for hunting and fishing because it walks right over fallen timber in the woods. Great for bringing firewood or dead deer out as well as for chores of all kinds around the farm. Could be custom-built to different sizes and can be equipped with a tailgate. Sells for $1,800.
