Sit N Pick Your Way Through Garden Chores
✖ |
Home gardener James Fish designed his 3-wheeled Sit-N-Pick garden chair to help harvest bush beans and peas while sitting down on the job. He also uses the new-style chair for planting and transplanting and for many other chores around the farm.
The chair features a tractor-style metal seat perched on a 14-ga. steel frame. The frame adjusts so you can straddle rows from 18 to 36-in. wide.
It rides on three 10-in. dia., 4-in. wide plastic wheels which, Fish says, roll easily through loose soil. The seat is 24-in. off ground and supports up to 250 lbs.
Fish is looking for a manufacturer and distributor.
For more information, contact: FARM SHOW Followup, James L. Fish, 1557 C.R. 995, Rt. 4, Ashland, Ohio 44805 (ph 419 289-2013).
