`?Timbertote"consists of a pair of double-S shaped steel hooks that are padded to prevent damage to side of the vehicle. One hook hangs from an open side window and the other from the car trunk or pickup bed, allowing the driver to carry up to several hundred pounds of bulky building materials on the side of the vehicle.
"They'reùzinc-coated to resist rust and are rated to handle over 400 lbs. each. Of course, this is much more weight than most doors can bear so discretion by the vehicle owner is advised," says Kevin Miller, inventor.
