We've found a way to make inexpensive, long-lasting waterers and feeders out of old plastic barrels that would otherwise be discarded. We cut the barrels in half and put metal legs on them. We've used them for 8 years now and they're still in fine shape. We use them both inside and outside. They cost only a fraction of commercial ones. (Glen B.
