Simple Lift Platform Saves Your Back FARM HOME Cars 21-5-35 Lifting heavy loads out of a car trunk is a lot easier with this simple new lift platform.
Kinetica's Easy-Lift was introduced this summer at the Minnesota Inventors Congress at Redwood Falls, Minn.
It consists of a 24 by 14-in. steel deck that raises and lowers on scissors legs with lift assist provided by a gas shock like those used on a hatchback car or van. The platform simply fits down in the floor of the trunk.
It raises up 11 1/2 in. and comes out 3 in.
The unit is held in place with a Velcro strip and collapses down to 2 1/4 in. high when not in use.
