Do-It-Yourselfer Motarless Brick
"Novabrik" is made of molded concrete. Each block is 8 in. long and 3 in. high. The interlocking bricks fit snugly to each other like landscaping blocks and are anchored to the wall with special screws inserted in key blocks.
Cost is about $4 per sq. ft. installed your-self. That's comparable to the cost of vinyl or steel siding but about half the cost of brick, the manufacturer notes.
Cab be used inside, too, on accent walls or fireplaces.
