New-Style Garden "Hoe" Has 8 Cutting Edges
"It's the best new garden tool developed in years," says Johnny Reyenga, inventor of a new-style hoe that features eight cutting edges that allow you to do a variety of yard and garden chores.
The Prescott, Ark., farmer, says the hoe's box-shaped cutting head is constructed of heavy 16 ga. steel. It mounts on a 42-in. long handle with three hex nuts and is spring-loaded so the cutting surfaces turn 30 degrees, then lock in place. It cuts in two positions with 12 cutting angles in each position.
Depending on position of the head, the hoe can be used for everything from conventional hoeing to cutting down chest-high vegetation. It can also be used to dig, aerate, pulverize, and remove soil, depending on how it's set.
Sells for $29.95.
