"Affordable" Dump Kit Fits Any Pickup PICKUPS Accessories 23-6-4 Dumping the box on your pickup is something everyone would like to be able to do at one time or another but making the conversion has always been an expensive, somewhat complicated conversion.
We recently spotted this add-on hoist kit in a Northern Tool catalog that's a lot less expensive than other kits we've seen.
The bolt-on kit requires no welding to install except for connecting the bumper to the rear hinges on some models. It lifts the box up to a 45? angle in 10 seconds with a maximum load. Dump capacity equals the original carrying capacity of the truck.
Kits sell for $849 and are available to fit all Ford, Chevy and GMC pickups from 1973 to 1999, as well as Dodge pickups from 1984 to 1999.
