Tractor-Mounted Soil Tester CROPS Miscellaneous 25-1-26 In-crop soil testing is possible with this 3-pt. mounted unit which can be used in standing crops, unlike ATV or pickup-mounted testers. The sampling arm is powered by a double-acting hydraulic cylinder that mounts behind the tractor. A stainless steel tube takes samples and then ejects them into a metal chute alongside the driver where they can be tested or bagged for later analysis.
