Designed to fit any pickup, it sets in the stake holes and is easily mounted or dismounted in a few minutes by one man. The spool will take up 100 rods of barbed wire, or up to a mile of smooth wire.
After rolling up a spool of wire, just tie a wire or two around the roll, remove the outside reel, then slip the roll off and replace the reel and you're ready to roll again. To unroll, just reverse the action.
The drive belt is on a spring tension idler which allows the belt to slip slightly to compensate for different size rolls. The Dudley roller can be installed on a trailer and pulled with a tractor on land too rough for a pickup. Sells for $115.
