Closing Wheel Pivot Kits For White Planters PLANTERS Planters 31-6-37 Tougher, more durable, closing wheel frame pivot kits are now available for White planters. RK Products offers the kits to fit 5000, 6000 and 8000 Series White planters.
OEM and most aftermarket kits provide a pivot that relies on two steel surfaces slipping on each other. Uneven wear can cause the closing wheels to go off center. The RK kit replaces steel on steel with long lasting bearings to keep closing wheels on center and to maintain optimum seed-to-soil contact.
The kits offer a square shaft with tapped holes to mount 203 series ball bearings and to replace the original pivot shafts. Tubular bearing housings are provided to weld to the pivot arm outside surface.
The kits are priced at $19 per row.
