Cordless Drill Has Battery Clips On It FARM SHOP Handy Hints Scott Hunn Wright City Mo : The battery went bad on my 12-volt cordless drill so I put an extension cord with battery clips on it Now I can hook up the drill to the battery on my truck or tractor without worrying about it ever going dead I ve had a couple of fan motors lock up on air conditioning units and furnaces due to lack of lubrication To solve the problem I drill a small hole in the bearing cover and then put a few drops of penetrating oil in the hole Then I turn the motor with an electric drill to free it up The motors then keep working for years as long as I put a few drops of oil in the hole once a year
