Automatic 3-Pt Hitch For High HpTractors
The "Hydra Hitch" mounts on the tractor 3-pt. hitch arms and is fitted with a 2-in. dia. hydraulic cylinder that operates a 1 1/2-in. dia. hitch pin. To hook up to an implement, you lower the 3-pt. hitch to ground level and back up to the implement tongue. Then you use the cylinder to push the hitch pin through the hole in the tongue to hook up.
"Most other automatic 3-pt. hitches are designed only for small tractors and require that you mount a receiver or some other gadget on the implement tongue," says Turner. "Once the implement is hooked up you can unplug the hydraulic hose and use the remote outlet for other jobs, if necessary."
Sells for $700. A model for 100 hp and lower tractors sells for $500.
