New Affordable Big Round Baler
Suggested retail cost is $3,755 - which is considerably less than the going rate for most comparable size big-round balers.
It's ground driven. "That means fewer parts, less maintenance, and more efficient and economical operation," says the manufacturer. "Ground-driven balers are also safer because they don't run when the tractor doesn't run."
Pickup width of the new baler is 5 ft., 2 in., which produces an approximate 1,500 lb. bale measuring 5 by 5 ft. It wraps four twine strands around individual bales to keep them compact for storage and transport.
"We use only nine belts - onethird less than in most balers now on the market," the manufacturer points out. "This means considerable savings in replacement belting over the life of the baler. In tough stuff, such as light, dry hay or corn stalks, it can't be beat."
